I listen to Denise and Murphy in the morning while getting ready for work. During the day I listen live on my computer, as do the other girls at work.
I know how they and your station support our military troops. I am a proud mother of a soldier who recently returned to Denver from his first tour of duty in Iraq. I am extremely proud to be working for a physician who supports our troops. I am also proud of a new little restaurant in Lone Tree which is donating 15% of their day’s proceeds to an organization dedicated to making sure our deployed soldiers are not forgotten. In this economy, this is an awesome act.
I received an email recently from this organization, Hearts Across the Miles, about this restaurant’s planned donation scheduled for this Tuesday, Feb 03. The doctor I work for is former military. He lives and works in Lone Tree. I asked him if he would be willing to host a happy hour for our office staff at this restaurant. He would be supporting not only our troops, but also a new restaurant in a city where he lives and works. A restaurant which is willing to support our troops. Dr. Millard’s response was …YES! Anything for our troops. He allowed me to send out over 600 invites to patients, as well as to 15 other doctor’s offices and their staff. They all have been invited for a Happy Hour Cocktail, guest of Dr. Millard and his wife Paula. It would be awesome if Denise and Murphy could mention this restaurant and their generous act of donating to our troops. The more people who show up, the more money for helping our troops. And if Denise and Murphy, or any other KOSI host want to show up to Dr. Millard’s Happy Hour from 5-7pm, he’ll buy them not only drinks but dinner as well!
