Denver Breast Lift and Augmentation
I will continue to tell my story of my breast augmentation and breast lift with Dr. John Millard…
After my surgery I went home and took pain pills as prescribed for about 5 days solid. To be honest I never felt any pain like I thought I would- but that very well could be from the fact that I took the pain pills continuously. I went off the pain pills a little earlier than Dr. Millard had suggested, because I wanted to get back into my normal routine as much as possible. Because of my breast lift, I wasn’t allowed to lift my daughter (25lbs0 for at least 4 weeks. That was the worst part of my surgery- because I had to hold myself back from doing it, because to be honest- I didn’t have any muscle pain like I thought I would, and I felt good enough to pick her up. Dr. Millard explained to me that there were inside stitches that needed 4 weeks to heal- and that was why I couldn’t lift more than a gallon jug of milk. I trust Dr. Millard, so I was diligent about following the rules for my aftercare. On about day 7 post op, my breasts began itching like crazy! It lasted for about 4 days and I took as much benadryl as allowed each day! I guess pain medications, and healing can cause itching like that. My sutures came out on day 10- and that was totally painless as well.
I am now 5 weeks out from my surgery- my results are FANTASTIC- and looking back, the surgery was a breeze- nothing like I expected! Dr. Millard did an amazig job of knowing what size would compliment my body and frame- and my breast lift makes all the difference.
