As we mentioned before, the first U.S. hi-def Liposculpture course was a huge success. I wanted to share one of our surgeons thoughts on the whole thing. Thanks to everyone who helped to make this course a success and the dreams of Dr. Millard and Dr Hoyos come true:

People may think of Beverly Hills as the beauty capitol. After all, it’s the height of Los Angeles chic, with tons of celebrities showing up in the media every week, with perfect faces and perfect bodies. So it’s easy to assume that Beverly Hills is the place to go for cosmetic surgery.

Who is not a good candidate for either traditional Liposuction or VASER Hi Def?
Dr. Millard feels that this is an interesting question because some patients who come to us for VASER Hi Def lipoSculpture procedures aren’t necessarily good candidates.
For them to have a sculpted appearance in one part of their body yet have a flaccid appearance in another part of their body would not necessarily make them look natural. We often refer these patients on with the same technology traditionally either the VASER or Laser technique to have a more traditional approach to their fat removal.
What plan of action / offerings do you have for these patients?
For a patient who doesn’t necessarily have the lifestyle whether it be nutrition, dieting or exercising, we first of all counsel patients that have liposuction and VASER Hi Def which are both techniques and are part of the program. A successful body sculpting patient whether it be traditional liposuction or VASER Hi Def requires a lifestyle they are continuing.
For the patient who currently has a good lifestyle, we came up with a concept called bod:evolve. Bod:evolve isn’t only an approach to patient ‘s for body sculpting using liposuction techniques and technologies but we work in conjunction with the gym, in our building with personal trainers who will address the patients needs for understanding how to start and continue exercising. We also provide nutritional counseling for these patients so they can make lifestyle changes and learn to make them most successful in there liposuction experience.

Millard Plastic Surgery Center in Colorado is rapidly becoming an International destination for plastic surgery, most notably liposuction, body contouring and breast surgery.

Dr. John A. Millard and Dr. David Broadway are proud to announce that their surgery center is opened. Dr. Millard and Dr. Broadway feel that this is a huge mile stone for them. The surgery center is totally dedicated to cosmetic and plastic surgery.
The unique situation about having a surgery center in the same building is that a patient can get the complete experience in our office-building. There is a fitness center, physical therapy, day spa, med spa and a very nutritional cafe located all in one building.

Breast augmentation in Denver involves the technique by which a woman’s breasts are made larger. It improves irregularities, size,shape and appearance. Breast Augmentation is performed by using an implant, either saline or silicone. The implant can be placed under the chest muscle (pectoralis major muscle) or above the muscle. Dr. John A. This has been an exciting time for our practice. On March 3rd, 2008, we moved into our new office at Renewal Medical Center in Lone Tree. It is a true ‘Center of Excellence’ and a dream come true for me. It has allowed me to become even more specialized in breast and body contouring while at the same, growing our services. We now offer microdermabrasions, vein treatments, laser hair removal, peels, skin tightening, teeth whitening as well as botox and dermal fillers.
The building is also home to a state of the art Performance Gym specializing in group personal training, a day spa featuring massage and facials, and terrific organic coffee bar. We also have our own fully licensed and accredited private surgery center opening up in May.
Dr. David Broadway is my partner. In the next few months we have 3 additional physicians joining our bod:evolve practice: Dr. Deb Irizarry, Dr. Raj Terkonda and Dr. Alfredo Hoyos.
Our staff is comprised of both Dr. Broadway and my previous staff with a few new employees as well. We are so proud of the whole team and feel like as a larger practice, we are able to offer the high level of medical care and service our patients deserve.
